Revision Lists
Belowesch colonies. The majority came from Hesse and the Rhine lands.
According to Pallas, also from Mecklenburg, Saxony, Sweden, and "aus dem
Reich, welche =FCber Kronstadt kamen;" others also from the region Danzig/Elbing
over Poland and Kiev. =20
[Included here are entries for Oldenburger; I list only parents
and children, not possessions. Note: the revision/census lists are from 1807
and 1809, so some names appear twice. The ages given are not entirely reliable,
or else some people didn't age at all in those two years and some got younger.

Georg.]
[The following information is from the Grunau colonies, which list only
"country of origin," and last names]
Grunau (the village), founded 1823,
29 families from the Elbing area [near Danzig].
Kaltschinowka, founded 1823, 26 families
from Kaltschinowka b. Tschernigow.
[Elsewhere, Stumpp says that Kaltschinowka-Grunau was founded in 1832,
which is true based on other information. The following lists the Grunau
villages that were formed by people from the Belowesch-Ts colonies]
Belowesch, 1832, Pr, 26 families
from Hesse [originally]
Kaltschinowka, 1832, Pr, 26 families
Rundewiese, 1832, Pr, 26 families,
29 from West-Pr. [This would conflict with other information in Stumpp's
own book, which says that they came mostly from Hesse. Probably this means
that 29 families from Danzig-Elbing moved to Rundewiese some time after it
was founded.]
